Community Outreach

for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me. (Matthew 25:35-36 NRSV)

Volunteers in our Food Pantry work to feed the hungry by packing bags of food that are distributed to individuals and families from 9 AM - 11 AM the first two Mondays each month.

During the winter we participate in the Salvation Army program to provide hot meals to those in need.

Food Pantry

Our Children's Clothes Closet is open from 10 AM - 1 PM the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month and provides over 2,000 pieces of clothing each year.

Clothes Closet

Non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry can be dropped off during operating hours or anytime the office is open.

Donations of good, clean children's clothing (sizes newborn through 18) can be dropped off during the Clothes Closet hours.

He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' (Matthew 22:37-39 NRSV)

But who is our neighbor?

Around the world our benevolences support a multitude of mission activities.

Through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the One Great Hour of Sharing we respond to the needs of our neighbors in the United States and around the world.

Light of the World

Our support of children through World Vision helps provide them with basic needs and whether it's a walk around the cemetery or a walk around town, through the CROP Walk we work to help others. We all walk because they walk.
