What to expect in worship View this week’s bulletinWorship at First
Traditional liturgy. Living hope.
Our worship follows a historic Reformed pattern—Gathering, Word, Response, and Sending—expressed through hymns, psalms, choral music, and congregational prayer. We believe this ancient rhythm shapes us for God’s work in the world.
You’ll find printed liturgy and robust congregational singing, moments of silence, and preaching that takes Scripture seriously while speaking honestly into the complexities of our time.
- Music: Choir, organ, and seasonal instrumental ensembles.
- Children: Children remain in worship; a nursery is provided for younger ones.
- Accessibility: Accessible entrances and large-print bulletins.

Children & youth
We welcome children fully into the life of the congregation, from baptism onward. Our Sunday School helps children learn the faith and grow in their love of Jesus, and our intergenerational events and youth gatherings invite young people to ask deep questions and grow in grace while having fun.

Stories of grace
A table big enough for our town.
Each week, our food pantry welcomes neighbors from across our community. Together we share groceries, stories, and a reminder that Christ’s table is always wider than we imagine.
We believe that the same Spirit who gathers us at the Lord’s Table sends us out to set tables of justice and mercy in our streets, schools, and homes.
